“For me, being Latino in these times of pandemic has been a bit more difficult than normal, because there has been very little information for Hispanics. When the pandemic started, doctors, nurses and other first responders were given the resources they needed to be protected,  but we (other essential workers) had to be more carefu,l because they didn’t take us into consideration at that time.”

Para mi, ser latino en estos tiempos de pandemia ha sido más dificil de lo normal, porque había muy poca información para nosotros. Cuando empezó todo, la atención estaba en los trabajadores de salud, ellos tenían los recursos para protegerse pero nosotros, trabajadores esenciales, teníamos que tener mucho más cuidado porque no nos consideraban.
